We are looking for someone to join our team as Contract Manager. The Contract Manager in the US works under the direction of the Regional Lead Americas to support the CSL enterprise.
You will be a liaison to the CSL Partners by providing legal advice and support through the contracting lifecycle, delivers high quality, efficient and streamlined contracting support, and identifies opportunities to improve efficient legal service support for the business. This enterprise role drives engagement with important partners and provides, high-quality legal support.

The Role
- Independently draft, review and negotiate end to end, a variety of standard agreements applicable to the region (such as Master Services Agreements, Health Care Professional contracts, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Data Processing Agreements amongst others).
- Develop templates for standard agreements in collaboration with company partners.
- Identify optimization opportunities to gain more efficient legal services support to the business.
- Develop and deliver training content related to standard agreements to Partners.
- Develop content for FAQs on standard agreement templates and processes.
- Provide high-quality and legal support to Partners regarding a range of legal issues and act as a liaison with the different departments to ensure issue resolution.
- Maintain the integrity of the agreements by using our contract lifecycle management platform.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and J.D. or equivalent foreign degree/s.
- Bar admission in relevant region or permission to practice in-house.
- 5 years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements in a reputable law firm or international corporate setting.
- Biotech or pharmaceutical experience.
- Contracts drafting, negotiation skills.
- Experience with commercial contracting.
- Work with internal Legal Partners and external parties to achieve strategic our goals.
- Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
