What You'll Do:
As an RN Admissions Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the admission process, utilizing your nursing expertise to assess, plan, and coordinate the transition of residents into our facility. Your compassionate care will ensure a smooth and comfortable entry for those in need of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for potential residents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to review medical histories and care needs
- Assist in developing individualized care plans for new admissions
- Coordinate and communicate care plans with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Educate residents and families about facility services, procedures, and care expectations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during the admission process

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of an Admissions Nurse include:
- Valid state RN nursing license
- Experience in Long-Term Care setting preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
