TFI Family Services is seeking a full-time Foster Home Developer! You must have a Master's or Bachelor's degree and meet one of the following qualification options:
Qualifications:
Option 1
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or other human services field.
- 9 credit hours in graduate-level courses focusing on family and individual function and interaction.
- 1 year of full-time work experience in a child-placing agency, which may include up to 350 hours of supervised field placement or practicum.
Option 2
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 9 credit hours in graduate-level courses focusing on family and individual function and interaction.
- 2 years of full-time work experience in a child-placing agency, which may include up to 350 hours of supervised field placement or practicum.
Option 3
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or other human services field.
- 9 credit hours in undergraduate-level courses focusing on family and individual function and interaction.
- 2 years of full-time work experience in a child-placing agency, which may include up to 350 hours of supervised field placement or practicum.
Option 4
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 9 credit hours in undergraduate-level courses focusing on family and individual function and interaction.
- 3 years of full-time work experience in a child-placing agency, or:
- Direct supervision from child placement management staff, with 10 documented, monthly, face-to-face, individual, case-related conferences over each annual period until the employee's experience totals three years.
A Day in The Life as a Foster Home Developer
As a Foster Home Developer, you will:
- Promote the well-being of children in the Foster Care Program.
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Coordinate with other agencies providing foster care services.
- Manage a caseload of families seeking to become Foster Homes.
