Overview:

We have three outpatient clinics providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to our community.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to treatment plan, and ensures appropriate follow-up with SLP of record to provide needs for ongoing assessment in relation to the patient’s condition.
- Provides speech therapy interventions in the outpatient setting.
- SLPA accurately collectsdata as directedby supervisor.
- Documents delivery of speech therapy services.
- Attends patient care meetings and actively participates in planning for the provision of speech/language services.
- Works across departments to maintain daily workflow for provision of Speech/Language Pathology Services.
- Assists departmental leadership in ensuring quality Speech/Language Pathology services.
- Tracking and completing all requirements for supervision as held by SLP-A license at state and national level.
Qualifications:
Education
- Associates degree in Speech Language Pathology-Assitant.
- -or-
- Bachelor's in Communication Sciences & Disorders from a regionally accredited University and completion of ASHA modules.
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Documentation experience preferred.
Lisensure / Certifiation
- Current Oklahoma license for Speech-Language Pathology-Assistant or SLP-A license eligible with a temporary license, or eligible for a temporary license.
- Must have ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathology-Assistant or complete with in the first year under a licensed CCC-SLP.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits
- $20.34 -$33.22 /hr depending on previous work experience.
