Biomedical device technicians specialize in the precise assembly of medical devices under a microscope. They meticulously construct and inspect components to ensure they meet exact specifications and quality standards. Their expertise in handling microscopic parts is critical for the reliability and performance of advanced medical equipment. Additionally, they maintain detailed records of the assembly process and perform routine checks to ensure the highest level of precision and safety in the final products.
Job Title: Biomedical Device Technicians
1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
Pay Rate: $24 Hourly
Location: Irvine, CA
Job Responsibilities:
- Microscopic Assembly: Precisely assemble medical device components under a microscope, ensuring all parts meet exact specifications and quality standards.
- Manual Dexterity: Must possess good manual dexterity to handle and manipulate small hand tools, components with precision and care.
- Clean Room Protocol: Operate in a clean room environment, strictly adhering to proper gowning procedures to maintain a contaminant-free workspace.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow FDA and ISO regulations throughout the assembly process, ensuring all activities meet required safety and quality guidelines.
- Documentation and Quality Control: Maintain detailed records of the assembly process and conduct routine inspections to verify the accuracy and reliability of assembled devices.
- Reading and Interpretation: Must be able to read and interpret work order instructions, visual aids, SOPs, and engineering drawings in English.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
