Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Heat Treat Operator to join our team. This role involves operating multiple furnace lines to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within our family-oriented company.
Job Duties:
- Run mechanical equipment
- Ensure products pass quality checks.
- Read and interpret blur prints
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to repair and maintain machinery according to specifications.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards for cleanliness.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Use moderately advanced measuring equipment
Experience and Education:
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical background.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems, with a beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
Skills/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
- Physical stamina and ability to work as part of a team.
