Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Lead Team Member Relations Analyst for our new battery plant in Liberty, North Carolina.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead companywide Team Member Relations projects.
Reporting to the HR Team Member Relations Manager, the person in this role will support the department’s objective to support and carryout the strategic direction of the HR function; acquiring and developing the talent necessary to pursue organizational goals, maintain a satisfied and engaged workforce with the goal of minimizing unwanted employee turnover.
This onsite position is based at our new battery manufacturing facility in Liberty, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. Relocation assistance is available for this position (if applicable). The person in this role will work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
What you’ll be doing
Lead Team Member Relations mid- to large size projects impacting across the company or region.
Serves as the HR subject matter expert to managers regarding policy and Team Member Relations related topics.
Conducts investigations of workplace policy violations.
Implements changes based on proven change-management techniques.
Applies policies and procedures across organization.
Interprets both policies and changes to policy.
Applies compliance knowledge to protect organization.
Implements solutions within designated area of responsibility.
Seeks ways to proactively improve organizational processes and outcomes.
Implements HR technology plans.
Applies experience and expertise to research solutions.
Reports trends to HR leadership.
Recommends policy changes to support business needs.
Coaches and mentors TMR Analyst.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent Human Resources experience.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading and/or managing small to mid-sized projects.
Experience in Team Member / Employee Relations or other related HR function experience.
Experience implementing and contributing to an HR plan.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven problem identification and problem-solving skills.
Facilitation and mediation skills.
Self-initiative and willingness to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability and willingness to support daily and weekend overtime requirements as needed.
Ability and willingness to various shifts.
Ability to work from multiple areas of a large manufacturing facility, including but is not limited to attending in-person meetings held at various locations throughout the facility, engaging with employees working in different areas throughout the facility, etc.
Added bonus if you have
Toyota Team Member Relations experience.
Experience with one or more of the following systems: UKG, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, Qualtrics.
HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI)
HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Six Sigma certification and/or Toyota TBP problem solving completion through panel.
