Radiology / X-Ray Tech
-Years of experience REQ: 1 Year Minimum
-First-timers accepted: facility would not be best fit for a first-time traveler unless they are very familiar with a busy Department and Trauma Center
-No Call Requirement
-No Floating Required
-50 Mile Radius Rule
-Orientation Every week on Monday - requires at least three weeks for compliance
-Daily Caseload per tech:
- Volume hinges on Trauma Day and/or Surgery
- Between 3p-120a Techs can expect to have anywhere between 90 and 120 studies
- Techs can anticipate between 24-35 studies per shift
Special Requirements: This is for a Tech to be able to work independently in Surgery with C-Arms, Portables, and within the Department for TRAUMA with a very busy Emergency Room
-Candidates should not look at the number of beds we have in our facility as it does not reflect the volume and expertise needed to thrive in our environment
-We have a Pediatric Hospital within our Hospital - creating a higher level of expertise required
-We also do not stop Surgery after the day shift, it is not uncommon for two or more of our staff on this shift in Surgery for the duration of their shift leaving the remainder of Techs handling the work load
-We have a burn unit and a very busy ICU as well
