Expected salary range:
- Entry Level - $82,500
- Mid-Level - $88,000 - $108,000
- Sr Level - $115,000- $141,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer &ndash New Graduate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs advanced reactor engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assure all engineering analysis and recommendations prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
- Support reactor engineering fleet initiatives and all reactor sites assigned.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
- Accountable for the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of details and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Minimum of seven years of experience
- Demonstrated solid or better results for at least two years and works independently in assigned areas of knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated ability to assist and mentor junior engineers on technical, as well as, HU/THU fundamentals
- Minimum of one year in the Reactor Engineer 3A Classification
- Individual contributor competencies, with demonstration of FLS competencies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Nuclear Engineering degree
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework
- Productivity and Programming Software Experience
- Demonstrated technical expertise in reactor engineering
