As part of the Executive Leadership Team (Mosaic Leadership Council) reporting to the CEO, the Chief
Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for providing the overall direction and leadership for the Information
Technology strategy and function supporting the Mosaic network.
The CIO will lead technology strategy and transformation which includes alignment to business objectives,
driving innovation and ensuring the effective implementation of technology solutions to enhance efficiency,
productivity and competitiveness. This position requires collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders
to understand their technology needs and priorities while providing strategic guidance on technology
solutions and investments.
Responsibilities:
● Provides visionary leadership to align innovation and digital transformation initiatives with business
objectives
● Identifies emerging technologies and trends that can provide strategic advantages for the organization
● Leads the integration and alignment of the organization’s technology plan into business strategy, reviews
plan on scheduled cycle and makes updates as needed
● Establishes data governance and architecture strategies, prioritizing end-user experience and
organizational data fluency
● Ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure
● Leads efforts to modernize and streamline technology platforms to enhance performance and reduce
costs
● Leads IT risk strategy and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, to include
Cybersecurity & HIPAA
● Establishes and enforces IT policies to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
● Champions digital innovation initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and
competitive advantage;
● Leads the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and digital solutions that align with business
objectives
● Builds and maintains effective relationships with technology vendors, partners and service providers;
● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field. Masters
degree in one of these fields or Business Administration preferred.
● Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, including supervisory and
management experience and demonstrated leadership at the executive level. Healthcare experience
preferred.
● Position location: Ideally located in the midwest or state where Mosaic operates.
