PRIMARY DUTIES
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
• Serves as liaison between the Psychiatrists, Mental Health Review Officers, Public Defenders, County delegates and patients.
• Follows-up on commitment status changes to ensure all patients remain on a valid commitment.
• Plans and facilitates all meetings associated with Mental Health Court, including treatment team meetings, stakeholder meetings, probate hearings and additional, as requested.
•All court hearings are virtual no travel required
DATA MANAGEMENT
• Performs data entry by updating and maintaining all excel spreadsheets, in-house logs and probate hearing schedules to ensure all patients remain on a valid commitment.
• Assures all paperwork and documents for all Involuntary Commitment types are assimilated into the Mental Health Court process timely.
• Coordinates the completion of all probates, orders, continuances and ACT 77 forms timely.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in the mental health field required; thorough understanding of the Mental Health Probate process and ability to identify valid commitment types.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new technology platforms. Key responsibilities include utilizing various computer programs to execute daily tasks, including managing, scanning, emailing, and uploading digital court files. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally with court officials via video conferencing, email, and telephone to ensure the probate process is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
