What You'll Do: You're the last step after these cars get a fresh coat. You'll need to make sure all of the work that was authorized for us to accomplish is completed. Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting repaired and primed panels.
- Ensuring that adjacent panels have been masked from scratches or damage before final sanding.
- Approving the preparation of repaired and primed panels for final finish application.
- Ensuring that all dust and other particles have been removed from panels.
- Inspect completion and verify the quality of any reconditioning work to customer specifications and contract standards.
- Inspect interior cleaning and ensuring debris is removed.
- Performing other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Who You Are: Forget that "new car scent"; you prefer "new car look." You don't mind a noisy work environment; in fact, you love the bustle of the shop floor. Requirements include:
Minimum - The ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred - A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of body shop and/or prepping experience.
- Valid Annual Respirator Fit Test documentation.
- Valid HAPS Paint Training Certification.
- The ability to lift 1-15 pounds (i.e., light hand tools, etc.).

Compensation:Hourly base pay rate is $14.42 - $21.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
