JOB DESCRIPTION
Serves as an &ldquoexpert&rdquo in handling escalated cases involving multiple requests for service. Serves as a trainer for other technicians in the field. Conducts quality control checks necessary to evaluate work performance of field personnel and provides feedback to management. Prepares reports for Service Manager on issues that affect the group or the division, listing out the issues with resolutions. Promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers. Exemplifies Company values.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
&bull Identifies and corrects complex problems in specified appliances and gas/electric water heaters.
&bull Assists with customer complaint tasks resolution.
&bull Serves as expert in handling escalated cases involving multiple requests for service.
&bull Maintains and makes recommendations as to additions or deletions of Company truck stock and equipment.
&bull Works under minimal supervision.
&bull Conducts quality control checks necessary to evaluate work performance of appliance personnel and provides feedback to management.
&bull Attends appliance manufacturer training and presents to team.
&bull Serves as trainer/mentor for other service techs in the field.
&bull Promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers.
&bull Conducts safety Audits and helps manage the near miss program.
&bull Serves as expert with the duties and responsibilities of Senior Journeyman Appliance Service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
&bull 9+ years work experience in appliance service specializing in at least two of the following skill sets: refrigeration, laundry & kitchen appliances.
&bull Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and problems relating to the performance of appliance equipment.
&bull Advanced knowledge in the tools and material and the ability to recommend procedure changes to meet special needs, and to adapt to changes in industry.
&bull Advanced knowledge and skills in at least 2 out of 3 of the following categories: refrigeration, laundry & kitchen.
&bull Advanced skills in servicing gas/electric water heaters.
&bull Advanced skills in customer relations.
&bull Advanced skills in sales and the ability to make recommendations to others of all services offered by our Company.
&bull Superior communications skills, both verbally and in written form.
&bull Gas fitter's license
&bull Valid Maryland driver's license
&bull Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
