Evening Supervisor in our Women's and Children's Unit
Suggested hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Flexible scheduling options may include:
- 5 shifts of 8 hours each, 4 shifts of 10 hours each, 3 shifts of 12 hours, plus 1 shift of 4 hours
- Alternately a combination of weekends and weekdays, Let us know what works best for you!
Experienced RN Incentives:
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
- ASN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your BSN (up to $16,000)
- BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000)
About Women's and Children's:
Our Unit consists of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery and Level II Special Care Nursery. We also get and female GYN patients and an occasional Pediatric patient. Nurses are cross trained to work in all areas
Overview:
Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program is required.
- Licensure:
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certification:
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Experience:
- 3 years' experience in Labor & Delivery and/or NICU required
- Supervisor experience is preferred.
