We're looking for an Insuring Analyst to review mortgage loans after closing to ensure that all underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements were met. This person plays a crucial role in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the post-closing process.

Responsibilities

Managing a pipeline of assigned loans for review and resolution.
Conduct comprehensive post-closing reviews of mortgage loan files to verify accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all necessary documentation, including appraisals, credit reports, and income verification, is in place and accurate.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the post-closing review process by working with agencies, lending institutions, brokers, internal teams, and borrowers directly.
Act with integrity to always ensure compliance with all applicable mortgage insurance regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and discrepancies.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control measures to prevent errors and improve post-closing processes.
Utilize discretion when adjusting communication styles and modes to the situation and needs of the other party.

Qualifications

You would you be great for this role if you...

have a high school diploma or GED
have experience reading DU and LP results
have at least one year of experience with mortgage insuring
have at least one year of experience using Encompass
are able to work independently with minimal supervision.
can problem solve issues by working with partners and clients.
act with a high level of integrity at all times.
adapt communication and requests to different audiences regularly.
