What you will do:
In this role you will be a part of a collaborative team of technical experts that will help support the Design, Development, and Continuous Improvement of Johnson Control Premier Rooftop Products. You will be primarily responsible for the continued Design and Improvement of the Fan and Air Moving Systems of these larger RTU’s.
In addition, you will work with the Controls, Electrical, and Refrigeration Teams to develop Power Distribution and Control Systems for the Air Moving Systems and drive Cost Reductions and Efficiency Improvements.
You will also work closely with CI, Quality, and Manufacturing Teams to ensure that the Premier Rooftop Product Line is the best in the industry.
How you will do it:
A Domestic and International Design Team is available to help make any concepts a reality.
You will have access to Model Making and Prototyping Resources to help build working models for R&D purposes.
You will have access to a State-of-the-Art Performance Lab with Full Psychometric Testing Capabilities up to 150 Tons of Cooling Capacity and 60,000+ CFM.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in (similar) Product Design.
HVAC Product Design Experience strongly preferred.
Strong Communication Skills is a must.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite is expected.
Knowledge of SAP or Equivalent MRP Systems is strongly preferred.
About the Manager:
You will report to and be mentored by the Director of Engineering for Large RTU’s. The manager has over 25 Years experience in the Design and Application of Rooftop Units and over 30+ Years of experience in the HVAC Industry.
