Basic algebra/math skills for calculations concerning percent, dilutions, ratios, averages, etc.
1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in Quality Control or Manufacturing
Extensive working knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills, able to work independently as well as part of a team, displays initiative, and demonstrates a problem-solving approach
JOB DUTIES:
Perform the Quality Control Line Check.
Responsible for quality control, compliance, and accurate labeling for all products, including both finished goods and raw materials.
Perform liquid batch checks by following the approved methods and using various lab equipment and software.
Responsible for product retain testing, follow-up, and product testing for long-term stability.
Keep retain samples and cards organized.
Create custom color formulations for customer paint requests in a timely manner.
Responsible for analysis of customer returns.
Perform bacteria test on liquid samples.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer programs to record and analyze data.
Communicate and respond to emails from customers and other departments through Microsoft Outlook.
Ensures all safety policies and procedures are adhered to in the plant.
Keep lab area clean and organized.
Assist in other areas as directed.
Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience Associate¿s or Technical Degree with an emphasis in quality control or chemical manufacturing preferred
