Kelly is partnering with our client to hire a Quality Technician. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will help improve the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves conducting visual inspections, performing audits, and ensuring process control and product conformity.
Quality Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $21-23/hr (plus shift differential)
Shift: Monday-Friday,
- C Shift (11pm-7am)
- Will Train on Days (7am-3:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- Review job tickets and follow standard operating procedures.
- Perform visual inspections and finished product audits to ensure customer quality specifications.
- Navigate ERP system (Amtech) for tracking and documentation.
- Participate in internal quality audits and document any non-conformances.
- Collaborate with operations and technical staff to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the resolution of customer complaints and provide technical support.
- Maintain and use various measurement tools for product inspections.
- Prepare and review customer samples, Certificates of Compliance (C of C), and Certificates of Assurance (C of A).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of quality assurance experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain detailed records.
- Experience with ISO9001 and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Ability to pass color blindness testing and use standard measurement tools.
