We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Baltimore, Md. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading goods, transferring inventory, and maintaining accurate records. If you have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.
Pay rate: 1st shift $15 and hour and 2nd shift $16.50 an hour with weekly pay!
Key Responsibilities:
- Disembark goods and merchandise from inbound transportation and stack them in designated zones.
- Collect and shift items to crates or pallets for delivery.
- Safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks and high-lift skid trucks.
- Transfer raw material inventory to production areas as needed.
- Ensure equipment safety through regular maintenance.
- Maintain meticulous records and a daily log of all operations for precise inventory management.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal statutes.
Qualifications:
- Solid background in safely maneuvering manual and electric pallet jacks and high-lift skid trucks.
- Proficient in operating industrial equipment with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent physical form, dexterity, and vitality.
- Background in a manufacturing environment, with experience in food manufacturing as a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to meet the demands of a dynamic, physically demanding work setting.
- Capable of standing for the entire shift.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment (28°F to 34°F).
- Flexibility to work the second shift and provide support on first shift or weekends when needed.
