*Mandatory training will 11/11/24 - 11/15/24 from 5pm- 10pm & held remotely. The seasonal position ends in early January 2025 on or after 1/4/25.*
*Equipment must be picked up at our South Austin Office and returned there. Only applicants based in Central Texas will be considered. *
Overview:
The Evening Email & Chat Seasonal Customer Service Specialists will provide customer support via chat and email as we continue to offer superior customer service for the upcoming holiday season. We are hiring staff for these seasonal positions starting now. The work schedule is Monday – Friday from 5pm to 10pm & it is essential that applicants can meet these availability times throughout the 8-9 week season.
Essential Functions:

- Create great customer experiences
- Process chat and email inquiries, assisting via phone if necessary
- Assist customers with product inquiries, order, account and website issues
- Maintain and grow knowledge of products, promotions, and sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction and sales
- Support the mission statement and core values (commitment, integrity, openness) of Go Retail Group
Requirements
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and productive, professional and courteous manner
- Strong written and verbal communication, including excellent grammar
- Demonstrated computer skills, including use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Ability to accomplish tasks in the most timely and efficient manner
- Multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
- Openness to receiving feedback and incorporating it into daily work
- If working from home, high-speed internet via ethernet cable connection and a quiet space to work from home
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 months+ contact center experience
