Neuro care unit
Located on the seventh floor of Building A, the 30-bed neurotrauma care unit (NTCU) serves patients with a wide variety of brain or nervous system disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, meningitis, encephalitis, strokes, and spinal injuries. The NTCU prides itself on providing outstanding patient care.
In this unit, staff are trained in NIHSS, swallow screen and spine immobilization.
The NTCU is a proud recipient of the Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center (PSC) Certification and Joint Commission Spine Center of Excellence Certification and works very closely with our Stroke Navigator.
