Maintenance Lead
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the organization. This role involves developing maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Maintenance Team:
- Develop tasks and PM schedules for maintaining equipment
Conduct regular evaluations of equipment and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Develop Maintenance Plans:
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize operational disruptions.
Ensure Equipment Reliability:
- Monitor equipment performance and address any issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
Implement Safety Procedures:
- Enforce safety protocols and standards within the facility.
Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Manage Inventory and Supplies:
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Coordinate procurement activities for replacement parts and supplies as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment downtime, and costs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the plant.
Recommend and implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least [10 years] in a maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Proficient in maintenance management software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:
