The Chief Programs Officer (CPO) role at TFI is a leadership position aimed at directing and overseeing the agency's program operations to ensure alignment with the organization's mission of serving children and families. The CPO works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to implement policies and objectives, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote best practices in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage Agency programs in line with board policies, accreditation standards, and best practices.
- Oversee assigned program operations, ensuring goals are met and contractual obligations are satisfied.
- Act as a representative of the organization to public/private agencies, government bodies, and the general public.
- Ensure all program activities comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as accreditation standards.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, and strategy development for long-term agency goals.
- Supervise and support Agency employees through regular development and team-building activities.
- Promote cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and professional growth within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a human services-related field.
- Five years of supervisory experience in operational management.
- Valid driver’s license for travel purposes (though client transport is not required).
