Expected salary range of $152,100 to $169,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Function as the Site Component Maintenance Optimization Group (CMOG) Manager. Responsible for providing direct management and leadership to CMO Component/Maintenance Specialists and CMO Program Specialists. Responsible for assigned budget as well as staffing, personnel development, compensation, and related human resource needs of assigned employees. The CMO Manager champions Site component reliability improvements, using preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance techniques and driving PM optimization. The CMO Manager role in PM optimization and equipment performance improvement is critical to controlling Site maintenance resources and preserving key Site equipment assets.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages the Predictive, Preventive and Proactive maintenance processes, in support of the Exelon overall Equipment Reliability Process, including accountability for the impact of Component Maintenance Optimization on O&M and capital costs.
- Manage the CMOG staffing, compensation and related human resource needs, including Human Performance and professional development of Site Component Specialists, PCM/PAM Coordinator and PdM Analysts.
- Responsible for attainment of high-quality proactive maintenance results through effective execution of various equipment condition based monitoring technologies, including Vibration, Lube Oil, Infrared, Thermography, Electric Motor testing, Acoustics/Ultrasonic and AOV, MOV, analysis.
- Develop budget, business plan inputs and review (short and long term) for assigned employee professional development as well as PM costs associated with Site key components.
- Lead on-line maintenance execution as a reoccurring Maintenance Duty Team Manager, including EP Duty Team Maintenance Manager responsibilities.
- Participate in working group activities with Fleet peers. Share experiences and lessons learned and incorporate Fleet best practices. Participate as senior resource to Fleet-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced maintenance optimization processes.
- Monitor, enhance, and implement effective interface with site engineering personnel regarding equipment condition of significant plant components and the overall equipment reliability process.
- Manage CMOG performance in the CAP and PEP program analyses, resolution development and implementation for significant plant component issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Staff E04 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years engineering experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- System Engineering experience
- Component Engineering experience
- Previous Maintenance Supervisory experience in Nuclear
- Previous PdM supervisory experience
- 8 years Nuclear power plant experience
- 3 years experience with Predictive and/or Preventive Maintenance programs responsibilities
- FLS Qualification or competency assessment to attain
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong personal computer (PC) knowledge
