Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MedSurg - Observation
Shift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week (will accept 48 upon request), Every weekend, EOH
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- IN /compact license
- Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience
- Trauma level II experience
- 1 travel assignment
- Skillset: PIV insertion, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn doing, chest tubes preferred
- Recent Epic charting experience
Other Details:
- First to float within skillset
- Patient Population: Chest pain, abdominal pain, flank plank, CVA/TIA, generalized weakness/awaiting placement/geri-psych placement
- Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1-4:5; NOCs 1:5-7; Excellent LPN and CNA support. CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes assignment on NOC shift.
- Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
- Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
- No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
