Position Summary: Learn conceptual and detailed engineering of custom robotic work cells and industrial tooling using 3-D CAD software (ProE, Creo, and SolidWorks).
Responsibilities:
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines (typical project duration is 4-8 weeks);
Mechanical aptitude for engineering custom / prototype mechanisms;
Sense of urgency to create and/or implement solutions;
Ability to complete basic engineering calculations (static, dynamic systems) with assistance;
Ability to maintain professional image and uphold company standards while interacting with customers, suppliers and / or co-workers; and
Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills:
Candidates must be in their junior or senior year of a 4-year undergraduate program from an accredited 4-year academic institution (i.e., mechanical engineering); and
Maintain a G.P.A. of “B” (i.e., 3.0) or higher (selected candidates may be requested to provide transcripts upon offer of internship).
