Inventory & Accounting Coordinator
Summary
Gather and compile operational data for reporting and analysis. Assist in maintaining inventories, accounting procedures and processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Gather and compile pallet tickets, waste sheets, regrind tickets and other operational data.
2. Enter data into daily report in accordance with time frame.
3. Review & Update the Company system with any corrections related to the day to day of production.
4. Interact effectively with plant personnel to solve problems and educate on paperwork requirements.
5. Notify Quality Assurance of discrepancies between production paperwork and hold worksheet numbers.
6. Investigate accounting and inventory discrepancies - negative lot dates, customer receipt vs. bill of lading paperwork, etc.
7. Maintain finished goods, hold and partial warehouse inventories in system.
8. Maintain accurate filing system of inventory adjustments, bill of materials and related paperwork.
9. Locate packaging and conduct cycle counts and inventories on the production floor as needed.
10. Perform varied clerical support for the department - emails, fax bill of lading in PDF format to customers. Make copies and from shipping documents from previous day.
11. Maintain logs, Product Action Forms and update information into Sage.
12. Input Receipt of Goods into Accounting Software.
13. Assist with month end physical counts on manufacturing floor and warehouse.
14. Assist in training Inventory & Accounting Supervisor with assigned activities based on daily needs.
15. Assist Inventory & Accounting Supervisor with assigned activities based on daily needs.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
Bachelors in accounting and 2-years' experience in an accounting setting.
Skills
Ability to read, write & interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to speak with vendors in a professional manner. Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, with a maximum distance required to carry 50 pounds of 100 feet at least 75% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms and walk up to 1/3 of the time. Sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel 2/3 of the time; talk or hear 1/2 of the time.
Environmental Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment of 90 degrees F or greater up to 50% of the time.
Safety Responsibilities
Be able to work and perform tasks related to warehouse safety. Be able to wear appropriate hearing protection for part of the shift. To be able to work safely in and around equipment at all times. Be able to operate a forklift in a manner that conforms with the OSHA standards.
