Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVICU
Shift: Variable / 12x3, 36hrs per week, Weekends and holidays as needed, no call
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- ID /compact license
- 2 years of recent ICU experience - required
- 1 year of recent CVIVU experience (will accept candidates with 1 year of immediate post-op open hearts experience)
- 1 year of recent IABP and Impella experience
- 1 year of recent PCU/IMC experience and be willing to float to those units
- Must have STRONG experience w/ immediate post-op CABGs, IABP, Impella, and devices
- Recent travel experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- CCRN preferred
Other details:
- All expected to float to Intermediate Care Unit with 1:4 ratios, large volume of post heart catheterization patients.
- Critical Care has a combined total of 32 beds: two 13 bed units and 6 overflow beds on 2 floors, ran as one unit
- Traditional staffing of 2:1 nurse patient ratio. 1:1 for post-TPA, CRRT, IABP, Impella and immediate post open heart recovery (>350+ open heart surgeries per year)
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Patient population: arterial lines, chest tubes, epicardial pacers. Monitor tech and CNA support.

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
Estimated Weekly Rate: $2376 per week
