The Lead Domain Architect role is responsible for integrating leading technologies in the design of complex technology solutions within the Quality Engineering domain , while considering business goals, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability. The incumbent will provide strategic direction, training and mentoring to various stakeholders across the business in the Quality Engineering domain and harness the value of automated testing in the use of modern AI/ML and Low Code solutions for addressing the Quality needs of the various functional areas. The role will lead the architecture and development of solutions aligned with the overall business and Quality engineering strategy and roadmap, ensuring business functional outcomes are achieved and the architectural runway is in place at the functional level. The incumbent will foster collaboration among stakeholders to understand business needs and implement the best solutions to meet their needs, while ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and roadmap.

- Integrate and refine test automation process and architecture designs to align them to the organization’s business goals (e.g., speed, reliability, simplicity, scalability)
- Leverage expertise in domain-driven design principals to improve upon conceptual and logical models and advocate for their organization-wide adoption in adherence to architectural principles, policies, standards, and frameworks

- Provide technical expertise and training opportunities to empower technical teams in support of the implementation of solution design
- Drive strategic communication regarding technical considerations and impacts to stakeholders helping them understand implications in detail
- Maintain and leverage strong business networks to ensure ongoing alignment between business operations and IT strategy
- Contribute to and influence the development of the overall Test strategy and roadmap, proposing innovative solutions that drive business goals
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in Quality Engineering and test automation domain to help the organization maintain a competitive advantage, driving innovation within the organization
Education
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of experience in IT
- Preferred
Knowledge & Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in the Quality Engineering domain and designing solutions
- Experienced designing and architecting Quality Engineering solution and complex systems at the functional or enterprise level
- Expertise in technology integration and the design of interfaces between systems
- Expertise in Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experienced in working with enterprise application integration and service-oriented architecture
- Extensive knowledge of existing and emerging enterprise architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks
