Avera is currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
Position Highlights:

- Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department.
- Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swing bed, pediatrics, outpatient adult.

Job Summary
- The Physical Therapist is responsible for administering the application of Physical Therapy treatments through supervision, instruction and actual patient treatment.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of CAPTE approved School of Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure from the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
- Continuing education program credits are preferred.
- Clinical internship.
- Experience as a licensed physical therapist of one year is preferred but not required.
Work Schedule
- 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional weekends & holidays
