Required Qualifications
- This position is open to anyone with experience caring for infants, medically fragile pediatric patients, or special needs children.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent . Nursing students (Associates of Nursing, BSN, or ABSN) with some clinical exposure, preferably in junior or senior year.
- Minimum 6 months experience required in healthcare, hospital, home health setting.
- WA state Health Care Worker requirements as per DOH and DCYF
- WA state CNA certificate
Responsibilities
Supporting our RNs in providing care to medically fragile babies and toddlers. Our patients most often require tracheostomy care and ventilator operation, g-tube care and operation, progressive mobilization, [etc.]
Here are three examples of tasks you may be taught and asked to perform:
1. Regular skin care & bathing assistance
2. Preparing G-tube feedings
3. Preparing equipment to assist trach changes.
4. Cleaning, meal preparing and other regular chores
We are looking for candidates who are strong team players, excited to learn, prepared to provide support to Nursing Evolutions Pediatric Critical Care RNs while they provide care to medically fragile infants, babies and toddlers, and able to work night shifts.
Hours:
Shift length: 12 hours
Monthly schedule is prepared in advance.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Everett, WA 98201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- CNA experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Pediatric care giving: 1 year (Preferred)
