Overview:
As a Pricing Technician you will ensure pricing integrity in all item files, on tags, talkers, signs and in all ads. Pricing Technicians also ensure all relevant cost information is keyed into the pricing system.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as Help Desk for stores (management, scanning coordinators, DSD receivers) for any pricing, scanning, receiving, billing, sign, tag or ad issue in any department; received by phone, email or from Pricing Portal application. Completes action to correct issue and notifies appropriate personnel of any corrections requiring store action.
- Creates offers and imports deals/offers from Aptaris to pricing system; verifying all allowances, lump sums, items in product groups, dates, sale retails, for all departments or category managers as assigned by manager.
- Keys any deals, retails or sale retails in pricing system directly as needed.
- Keys Fresh department retails, new items and sale retails into InterScale, on revolving monthly basis. Creates and sends events; trouble shoots all pricing related issues for that department for that month.
- Proofs weekly ads, special flyer's, etc. and works with category manager to ensure any changes are keyed within deadlines to guarantee accuracy for the stores.
- Coordinates communication and testing of complex promotional data to Appcard personnel.
- Provides administrative support as related to pricing, promotion, and authorization of items for the category managers.
- Works with category managers to resolve any issues with overlapping promotions.
- Works with category managers to maintain pricing link groups.
- Cross trained on all systems used in the Pricing Department.
- Updates office lab on a daily basis and tests promotions as needed.
- Serves as backup for 1-2 other pricing technicians; is familiar with those categories/duties.
- Any special projects assigned by manager
