What You'll Do: The Planning & Insights department supports the Digital, Data, and Operations divisions with strategic and operational financial planning, monthly forecasting, portfolio management, and delivery of relevant management reporting and insights.
We are looking for dynamic and energetic individual with strong technical and financial management background help drive the financial performance management vision, specifically centered on a Technology Business Management solution designed to position leaders with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT Products and Services. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of leadership, technical, and business acumen; a big-picture mindset and the drive to deliver results. This role will work in close collaboration with IT and Finance professionals at all levels within the organization.
A successful candidate will:- Cultivate and maintain a web of relationships internally and externally.
- Understand and anticipate stakeholder needs and use consensus building to gain support.
- Be comfortable navigating an ambiguous environment.
- Know how to confirm and reconfirm assumptions.
- Be capable of identifying root cause of issues (e.g. data, process, procedures).
- Be able to harmonize disparate points of view and apply knowledge to propose the right solution.
- Own key elements of the Apptio platform and steering continuous improvement while embodying expertise in this product space.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of :- Lead a Kanban team of Apptio Technical Functional Analysts in a continuous iterative development and delivery lifecycle and oversee their training and development.
- Drive design, development, and implementation of the Technology Business Management (TBM) model through various modules within the Apptio platform.
- Own product management/backlog prioritization and monthly data refresh processes and support analysis of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure thorough testing and validation of developed solutions in accordance with technology development lifecycle.
- Assist with the investigation and troubleshooting of output variance, data fallout, and technical issues within the Apptio platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure business partners' deliverable timelines are not negatively impacted.
- Continuously assess and optimize existing solutions within the Apptio platform.
- Proactively manage the expectations of leadership team and key stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for Senior/Executive leadership.
- Recognize and solve complex business problems through financial and business process analyses.
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan, receives guidance from organizational leadership.
- Provide technical financial education and guidance to employees, colleagues and/or internal customers.

Skills/RequirementsWhat Experience You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of directly related experience with technology business management, including:
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- 3+ years of experience with ApptioOne software
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
What Could Set You Apart:- 3+ years of financial planning for Technology organizations
- Knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
- Experience working with scripting, reporting building, etc.
- SAFe/Agile exposure.
- Knowledge of IT services and best practices related to financial management processes such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.
