The candidate will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop high-level ISR solutions in the space domain and will need to possess a broad understanding of space-related systems development. This candidate will also have the opportunity to identify and assess potential intellectual property (IP) opportunities within projects while designing and developing system architectures and requirements that align with project goals and industry standards.

Must-haves:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in space systems development
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred:
- Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
- Demonstrated capability in requirements management and system modeling tools such as DOORS
- Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
- Experience integration and testing of subsystems, components, and payloads for space vehicles
- Advanced experience with establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $159,430.15 - $219,216.46. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
