We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President to lead the EMPOWER Program in advancing its mission and enhancing its presence within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic direction and administration of the EMPOWER program.
- Work closely with the CEO to provide timely, accurate information for informed decision-making.
- Ensure sound fiscal management, resource optimization, and program sustainability.
- Actively participate in community outreach, representing the program with civic, professional, and private organizations.
- Lead program operations, including staff hiring and retention, to deliver high-quality services.
- Develop and implement short, intermediate, and long-term plans to drive the program’s success.
- Ensure a consistent and positive public image for the program.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
- 5+ years of senior nonprofit leadership experience.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in planning, program development, and staff management.
- Ability to communicate and convey the program's vision to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management and familiarity with budgeting and audit processes.
- Competence in using Word, Excel, and database management software.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license for travel related to meetings and business engagements.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to executive leadership and community groups.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional outdoor work and light physical activity, including lifting up to 25 pounds, may be required.
