Interapt is launching a remote Software Development Support Technician training program in early 2025 exclusive only to Franklin County residents sponsored by the US Department of Labor and Kentucky Capital Development Corporation. We have a unique model to build tech talent at scale, with a commitment to bridge the IT talent and equity gap in communities throughout the United States.
Join us for an exciting opportunity where graduates of the program can earn 12 college credit hours through Kentucky State University, a respected HBCU, as you embark on an exciting journey towards a fulfilling career in technology! The classes will take place online and follow a full-time schedule, running from Monday to Friday for 8 hours each day. You will find yourself dedicating about 1 to 3 hours to homework each evening. We are excited to offer full scholarships to enthusiastic individuals eager to gain valuable Information Technology experience and kick-start their careers in the tech industry!
Upon successfully completing the program, participants will have the exciting opportunity to be considered for a Software Development Support Technician Apprenticeship, working with a premier client of Interapt. To seize this opportunity, candidates must commit to and successfully complete a full-time immersive tech training program.
This comprehensive course is designed to provide you with the essential skills to develop, secure, and maintain business applications. It covers a wide range of technical skills and principles such as Agile & Scrum, Python programming, web development, networking and cybersecurity, databases, and machine learning. You will learn to setup, develop within, and monitor development environments while applying the latest trends in cybersecurity to detect and mitigate all vulnerabilities. We are looking for candidates who are eager to explore the fascinating world of Software Development and Security.

- A High School Diploma or a comparable qualification is required.
- Applicants must either be U.S. Citizens or hold a Greencard.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
