As a Partner & Category Marketing Manager for Best Buy Ads, you’ll set the vision and develop the marketing strategy for a specific business and set of partners to unlock both category growth and advertising revenue. You’ll use a blend of offerings and high-value audiences. The marketing strategy will keep a lens on total company and macro industry trends while developing new initiatives to engage customers. You’ll effectively communicate the value proposition of key offerings, deliver on goals and communicate effectively with executive-level vendors and internal leaders.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. - Partner on customer insights and shopping behaviors while championing the customer journey with your team and your brand partners
- Lead large campaign moments that drive business for your categories
- Advise and guide partners internally and externally
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and expense to your leader on a timely basis
- Recruit and train talent by developing career plans with team members
Basic qualifications - 7 years of experience in retail, media, marketing or sales
- Advanced knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology and its competitive landscape
- Experience developing emerging talent or in a leadership role
