A Cancer Center in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a qualified Medical Dosimetrist with a combination of education and experience that meets Federal, State, and Local guidelines. The minimum requirements include:
- Registration as a CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist).
- Proficiency in the Eclipse treatment planning system.
- Expertise in IMRT, Rapid Arc, and 3D planning techniques.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and prior experience with ARIA.

Good team working abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable in the areas of radiation physics, and radiation safety
High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
Has the ability to interpret criteria and develop treatment plans as defined by protocols.
Expertise in the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to develop optimal treatment plans.
Estimated Pay
The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
The Pay Range for this position is $ 120,000.00 - $170,000.00. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
