Rhino Medical is urgently seeking Emergency Medicine (EM) and Hospitalist (HM) Physicians, as well as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), to assist with disaster relief efforts in North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. This is a critical opportunity to provide immediate support to communities in need while utilizing your skills to make a real impact in a crisis.
Opportunity Specifics:
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Disaster Response
- Setting: Emergency Medicine & Hospitalist
- Start Date: ASAP – Immediate and ongoing needs through next week
- Facilities: Multiple hospitals across North Carolina (details below)
- Transportation: Charlotte Airport available for travel; some sites accessible by car, others by helicopter

- EM & HM (Franklin, NC)
- EM & HM (Highlands, NC)
- EM, HM, & EM Peds (Asheville, NC)
- HM (Asheville, NC)
- EM & HM (Marion, NC)
- EM & HM (Brevard, NC)
Licensure Requirements:
- The NC licensure requirement has been waived – any licensed clinician from any state can help.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Hospitalist (MD/DO or APPs)
- License in good standing in any U.S. state
- Availability to start immediately
- Able to work under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (preferred but not required)
