We are currently seeking a qualified residential Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on single family homes. Successful candidates will be hard working, reliable, ability to work independently or as a team. We are seeking candidates who desire a long term career opportunity with a successful company in the residential services industry.
Position Summary/Objective
Service Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of our properties. They must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality repairs to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. They must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Customer service is of the highest importance and must always be displayed. Other tasks include finish work and occasional property turnover. Documentation is done via smart devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes resident service requests or turns in a timely manner, providing outstanding customer experiences to residents
- An average of 5 service requests should be completed per day. Management has discretion depending on the complexity of the job and work orders
- Assists with upkeep of all assets to meet Company quality standards
- Handles emergency service requests on a rotational basis
- Ensures all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Uses company tools and equipment as directed and in accordance with all required safety standards
- Coordinates with assigned personnel and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and service requests efficiently
- Functions as part of an interdepartmental team
- Responds to emergency situations during after-hours to resolve immediate safety concerns
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, SKILLS, and Abilities)
- Strong aptitude with computers, internet, network phone systems
- Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the ability to lift carry, push, pull medium weights up to 75 pounds
- Requires activity involving being exposed to moving machinery, exposure to marke
- changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases
- Transport a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the service site
- Exemplary Customer Service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to five years’ previous experience in a maintenance role
- HVAC Certification Preferred
- At least two years of Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electrical experience
- Must have own tools, we will provide larger equipment as needed
- Pass a Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen, Credit, and Criminal Background Check
- Time Management skills
- Valid driver’s license is a requirement

Travel is primarily local during the business day. After hour calls are on rotation.
