Pleasant Holidays, one of the largest travel wholesalers in the United States specializing in vacation travel to the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, South Africa, South Pacific (Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Zealand & Tahiti), Asia, the United States & Canada, and cruise vacations worldwide, is seeking an Air Operations Agent.
Pleasant Holidays is a subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Southern California, a diversified insurance, roadside assistance, financial services and travel organization serving AAA Members for more than 100 years.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee all passenger name records built in Apollo and in airline websites to ensure highest level of accuracy and customer service.
- Take calls and email requests from internal customers: Reservations, Travel Support, Customer Experience and Groups for new and existing bookings.
- Solve all Passenger Name Record (PNR) problems for passengers and internal customers for best flights and to ensure ticketing via Apollo and Atlas.
- Direct liaison for Pleasant Holidays and Airline Group Desk.
- Load train, ferry and any miscellaneous block transportation for our International destinations.
Secondary Duties:
- Produce daily/weekly reports.
- Produce departmental procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
- Looking for a self-starter that requires little supervision with a positive attitude that is detail oriented, flexible and a team player.
- Atlas (internal system) knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge in Apollo and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Access are preferred.
Location: Westlake Village, M-F: Hours vary between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, 1 hour lunch
The salary range for the position is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
External hires receive $1,000 retention award payout; paid at one- year of service.
