What you will do
The Contracting Supervisor is responsible for the proper coordination, execution, and follow-up for the Contracting Team in an assigned Territory. They will liaise between General Contractors/Owners and cross functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services and solutions. Ensuring the customer needs are met and improve the overall customer experience as well as execute the team’s margin expectations.
Oversees and directs the Contracting Fitter team project schedule and Work Progress reports.
Adhere to JCI Safety practices and procedures of team compliance.
Be able to read blueprints and order materials for projects and track the delivery and execution of material to Contracting projects.
Establish manpower requirements and project execution to ensure sufficient timely and proficiency of contract projects.
Report to upper management of project status and completion expectations on all projects.
Operate and maintain required rental equipment logs as well as certification on all necessary equipment for himself and team members.
Proven supervisor experience with an ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, partners and sub-contractors simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry lines of different system components and requirements.
Knowledge of NFPA codes and Building codes and able to work with AHJ’s to inspectors to obtain all necessary system approvals.
Excellent computer skills and data analysis skills to include Autocad, Microsoft Office Suite and Excel data sheets, Microsoft Outlook etc .
Ability to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
Prior field supervisory and or management experience.
Adhere to JCI policies, procedures, programs, safety practices and services.
Ability to work remote and as a lead point of contact for any matters related to contracting projects.
Ability to help if necessary to any team members that may need assistance.
Ability to train new hires to fully meet all installation procedures and industry standards for all type system installations.
Ability and knowledge on all types of Water based and AFF foam, Gas systems and Special hazards systems.
NICET for Water Based System Layouts, Gas Systems and or Special Hazards systems.
Minimum of 2 years in industry of installation of Water based systems as lead installer, foreman or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills whether verbally and or computer based communication, etc.
