Overview: The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for leading the external efforts to convert qualified prospects into permanent residents through engagement and attraction from outreach efforts and professional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent discretion and authority to generate new potential professional partnerships by conducting targeted outreach and actively participating in relevant networks within New York City
- Conceptualize, compose and execute a comprehensive, strategic engagement plan for the professional network related to senior living on the Upper East Side and other surrounding neighborhoods, including community outreach and educational activities for creating referrals
- Independent management and execution of the end-to-end process of meeting, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership, evaluating, negotiating, and executing on next steps for referrals
- Discretion to develop strategic partnerships within the physician networks, hospital executives, executive geriatric professionals and organizations, high net worth financial advisors, high net worth real estate agents/brokers, elder care attorneys/advisors and other relevant professionals in order to generate referrals
- Discretion to develop strategic partnerships with executives in competitive markets for collaboration
- Establish key performance indicators that will determine the ultimate success of each partnership
- Nurture and grow the existing partnerships to ensure strategic referral goals are being met
- Proactively engage professional partners on a regular basis through meetings and networking to stay “top of mind”
- Lead strategic thinking on the execution of high-level professional networking events
- Assist in ensuring sales goals are met by the collective efforts of thoughtfully secured appointments with C-Suite and other targeted professionals
- Drive sales pipeline through partnerships and professional relationships
- Responsible for regularly meeting the sales metrics and benchmarks as set by company standard
- Strong peer collaboration with General Manager, Director of Business Development, and other leasing team members
- Work collaboratively with the key internal stakeholders across our executive, clinical, strategy, operations, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure close alignment on professional partnerships
- Coordinate outreach meetings for other key staff including General Manager, Executive Director of Clinical Operations, or Director of Business Development
- Collaboration with the Director of Business Development on sales and marketing goals
- Approach all encounters with potential residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-oriented
- Displays patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition
- Promote Inspīr in a positive manner and effectively communicate the organizations values to residents, visitors, co-workers and the community
- Provide education, support and resources to caregivers and professionals
- Provide outreach and create networking opportunities with professionals
- Effectively use CRM to maintain a high-quality outreach and sales effort
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, human services, or business management preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years sales/marketing experience and professional contacts within the healthcare industry in New York City
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any applicable Customer Relations Management System (“CRM”)
- Experience with or interest in working with seniors including those with memory care needs
