Summary of Job:
The Residential HVAC Installation Technician lays out, assembles, installs all areas of residential HVAC installations including any ductwork, setting, and starting up split and package systems. Gas piping, venting and electrical as well.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of field experience
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- EPA certified to handle refrigerant
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of required duct sizing for supply and returns for 1.5 to 5-ton units
- Able to effectively braze all sizes of copper
- Ability to do metal fabrication
- Basic computer knowledge
