The Multi-Team Team Leader will assist the Store Team Leader & Associate Store Team Leader in providing leadership and supervision of the entire store. A large part of the Team Leader role includes leading, mentoring, and developing Floor Leads and Team Members to achieve and surpass all store goals. As a Team Leader you will need to be open and ready for change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate store operations to meet sales and profitability goals.
- Analyze product management to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage store shifts and ensure compliance with pricing and signage.
- Recruit, train, and develop Team Members to foster a high-performing team.
- Communicate the company vision and ensure adherence to programs.
- Maintain a positive work environment and high morale.
- Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote product knowledge.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to improve productivity.
- Oversee inventory management and compliance with regulations (OSHA, FDA, etc.).
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety procedures are followed.
- Participate in store meetings and work flexible shifts as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience in retail, preferably grocery.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in retail standards and financial management.
- High energy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic accounting.
- Serv-Safe certification preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
