Location: Aiea, Hawaii
Days: Monday- Friday
Hours: TBD
Yearly Salary: 100k - 130K D.O.E
Essential Job Duties:
- Oversees the company’s accounting and billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversees and/or prepares monthly financial statements accurately and timely.
- Maintains and monitors the planning and budgeting systems and analyzes, interprets, and shares trends that require executive management’s attention.
- Provides department staff with direction to ensure accounting practices are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the Billing Manager to ensure claims are processed promptly and accurately to meet the organization’s revenue goals.
- Assists Chief Financial Officer as required.
- Prepares statistical reports as requested for internal and external purposes.
- Monitors department staff performance, completes and conducts periodic evaluations, and counsels and disciplines staff as necessary in accordance with human resource guidelines.
- Maintains staff schedules, approves timesheets, approves and monitors PTO to ensure that staff is available to handle daily activities.
- Regularly trains team members and updates them on new policies/procedures and other information.
- Willingly shares knowledge with others to accomplish assigned tasks effectively.
- Adheres to confidentiality, safety, compliance, and legal requirements.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and comply with company guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
All you need is:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required. Healthcare experience preferred.
- CPA Certified from the State of Hawaii
- Proficiency with accounting software, PC computers including word processing and spreadsheets, and 10-key calculators.
- Excellent math, analytical, and data entry skills required.
- Excellent and proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills, including by telephone.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Excellent computer skills, especially with Excel and database applications.
- A high degree of creativity and ability to think strategically.
