Lennar’s Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) Program is a 1-year, entry-level program beginning in June, in which associates engage in significant projects, leveraging next-gen technology to provide innovative solutions across the company, industry, andbeyond. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and team building.Upon program completion, high-performing RCGs will have the opportunity to continue in their current role or another internal role within Technology.
There are two career tracks within the Engineer Future Builders Program role. Candidates will be considered for placement in one of the two following tracks: Software Engineer and Data Engineer.
Code high-quality solutions and unit tests, ensuring successful integration into the overall application/system with clean, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including data access, performance, and accuracy problems.
Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, computer engineering, or a similar field
Experience using programming language(s) such as Python, SQL, Scala, Java, JavaScript, C# or C++
Experience with delivery/release events, e.g., release notes, branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution
Strong analytical, and written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience
Software Engineer Requirements:
Experience with application frameworks, e.g., Angular, Oracle, ASP.NET
Data Engineering Requirements:
Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a focus on data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, PySpark)
Experience with data analysis tools (such as R, Matlab, Jupyter, PowerBI, Excel or Tableau)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, fact tables, and dimension tables
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic cloud services, such as storage and compute resources

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.
