About this position:
The Lynn advanced programs (AP) section is a brand-new organization with the mission of inventing the future of flight and advancing propulsion capability for the next generation of military applications. Lynn AP supports a wide range of engineering activity including design, analysis, and testing across new, derivative, and existing engines.
The lead engineer for fan airfoil mechanical design will own all aspects of airfoil mechanical design and development of one stage of the fan as a part of the fan module team. In this role, the lead engineer will utilize engineering experience and partner with teammates and technical experts to solve problems and recommend solutions. This role is best suited for a collaborative problem solver with a desire to deepen their mechanical design expertise and develop new solutions to challenging technical problems while balancing program requirements. Effectively working with teammates, technical experts, and peers in adjacent organizations will be necessary for successful project execution to impact short-term and long-term business goals.
