Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU/MS/ED Hold-Float Pool
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW
Length: 16 Weeks
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Requirements:
- GA License
- 2 years of experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must have Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage experience
- Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience preferred
- ENPC preferred
Others:
- Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
- Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
- Will take local candidates
- This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member

FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
