As a Construction Project Analyst, you’ll support the construction team in all workstreams including retail, non-retail and merchandise-driven projects. This includes financials and forecasting, owner supplied materials, material and equipment vendor management, inventory controls, and other responsibilities to help the construction team to successfully complete projects.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What you’ll do - Partner and support the team by influencing without authority to achieve results
- Provide forecasting and tracking for construction projects, permits and workstreams
- Manage construction material vendors, inventory levels and the project management website
- Work with contractors and hold them accountable to contract terms
- Create training documents, planning documents and presentation materials
- Provide budget coordination and scheduling for contractors working on merchandise-driven projects
Basic qualifications - 2 years of vendor management experience
- 2 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, finance and/or business analysis
- 2 years of experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- 2 years of experience Retail or other equivalent industry experience
Preferred qualifications - 2 years of retail experience in a field or corporate environment
